DW set owned by a great studio drummer. This was played in an R&B song...
which is why you don't see any crashes, toms, or even a ride ;)
No... the drummer isn't left handed, the photo is a mirror image.
Yeah... two hihats, pretty cool :)
That's a Shure Beta 57 on the snare (it's brighter than the SM-57)...
It was choosen because the drummer played cross-stick (against the rim),
and we needed and louder and brighter sound to CRACK like modern R&B/HipHop.
